Once I came to grips with what was truly important - I BECAME A BEAST FOR MY PASSION. I knew my gifts would make room for me. I began to get closer to God. I read more. Desired more knowledge. Prayed and meditated. Dreamed a lot. Began to put a lot of work into my craft.

One night--what woke me up from my nap was something I either heard or thought of or dreamed::: I just remember hearing these words--

"Your gift will make room for you"

Instantly I awoke. The time on the clock was apprx 8pm::::::

In the dream, I remember trying to grab something, but the object I was trying to grab hold to made me soft like quick sand; therefore I could not grasp it --then I remember either hearing or thinking these words:

"Your gift will make room for you"

At that point I remember my body becoming solid and strong and I was able to stand.... I then awoke from the dream

The phrase " Your Gift will make room for you," remained in my head all night, so much so that at 2am I decided to look up the scripture and the meaning of those words...... please read the translation below:

How is the fulfillment of vision meant to work in practical terms? Proverbs 18:16 is a powerful statement that reveals the answer: "A man's gift makes room for him" (NKJV). What you were designed to be known for is your gift.

God has put a gift or talent in every person that the world will make room for.

It is this gift that will enable you to fulfill your vision.

It will make a way for you in life. It is in exercising this gift that you will find real fulfillment, purpose, and contentment in your work.

It is interesting to note that the Bible does not say that a man's education makes room for him, but that his gift does.

Somehow we have swallowed the idea that education is the key to success. Our families and societies have reinforced this idea to us, but we will have to change our perspective if we are to be truly successful.

Education is not the key to success.

Don't misunderstand me. I believe in education. However, if education were the key to success, then everyone who has a Ph.D. would be financially secure and happy.

If you are intelligent but are not exercising your gift, you're probably going to be poor. If you're educated but have not developed your talent, you're likely going to be depressed, frustrated, and tired.

You will hate going to work on Monday mornings.

Education, in itself, doesn't guarantee anything.

It is your gift that is the key to your success.

The second part of Proverbs 18:16 says, "A man's gift…brings him before great men" (NKJV). You don't realize that the gift you're sitting on is loaded.

The world won't move over for you just because you're smart.

However, when you exercise your gift, not only will the world make room for you, but it will also pay you for it.

Anyone - yourself included - who discovers his or her gift and develops it will become a commodity.

If you're a young person in high school or college who is planning your career, don't do what people say will make you a lot of money. Do what you were born to do, because that is where you will make your money. No matter how big the world is, there's a place for you in it when you discover and manifest your gift.

Alexander Graham Bell believed that sound could be converted into electrical impulses and transmitted by wire.

No one remembers those who thought he was crazy.

We remember only the man who had the vision and created the telephone.

If you do things in a halfway manner, you can always find a job somewhere. Yet if you do just enough to get by, you are going to remain simply an employee.

However, if you decide that you're going to find something that is truly yours, then you will fulfill your vision, and you will be remembered by others.

GO GET IT – IT'S YOUR TIME!

Lunch at Grand Central station in Kingstree, SC was good, but the encounter I had with an aspiring author while there was even better.

Met a young lady who is walking in her purpose. She revealed to me that she lost her husband, mother, and brother. She said she recognized me from FACEBOOK. She asked what is the name of my book. I told her, 'Don't Quit- Follow Your Dreams!' Her response was I need to read that because I need that in my life right now.

During the course of our conversation, the young lady began to uplift my spirits and inspire me. You see I had hit a creative slump. I escaped to Grand Central Station Restaurant in hopes that a change of scenery would spark my creative flame... meeting this young lady did just that. In spite of her hardships she still manages to live on purpose by inspiring others. Her dream is to write a book as well as inspire young women past their hurt and disappointments in life!

I say to this YOUNG LADY-- GO GET IT! Its Your Time!

The point of this post is this:

1. You never know who is watching you, listening to you, or studying you so always be a beacon of hope and light. It's time out for PHONIES. Be your authentic self. Be who you say you are. Check all EGOS at the door.

2. Make time to listen to those that want your ear, time, and attention. You never know how you may be blessed in the process.

3. The TIME is NOW to Follow Your Dreams. Live on Purpose Today and begin to experience life the way the Creator intended.

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE? Why Are You Here?

EVERYONE has a purpose, a destiny to fulfill. No one is given this human body to wander around aimlessly, feeling hopelessly lost. We were all created for a reason.

You may ask what is my purpose? You maybe struggling with trying to define “your existence” and you may feel as if you're getting to "no where land" extremely fast! You may have tried different projects, worked several jobs, and volunteered your time with different agencies, but still have yet to find your purpose.

Some of us know our purpose from birth or from the earliest thought we can remember, while others are well in their mid thirties questioning their life path.

For those of you struggling to determine your purpose, here are a few things you can do. Hopefully this exercise will bring you one step closer to happiness.

1. Jot down on a piece of paper the things that make you most happy when doing them, i.e. volunteering, building homes, teaching, entertaining, counseling, taking care of children, catering, etc.

2. Jot down the things you would love to do if fear and lack were not factors?

3. What's the one thing you love to do and can do with ease? The one thing that did not require any formal education on your part, yet you perform it with perfection?

4. Last, but not least, meditate, pray and ask God to lead you to your calling. Listen to your inner voice, your intuition, your gut feeling.

I feel that if you complete the first three tasks in the exercise and commit to praying and meditating, you will arrive at your destination, which is your purpose!

It is my belief that people perish because of lack of vision AND knowledge. Living a life of purpose, peace, and passion is what God intended for each of us. I highly recommend the 3 P's (purpose, peace, and passion)

As a man thinketh, so is he. The picture you paint of yourself in your mind is the outward portrait the world often sees. If you consider yourself worthless, pathetic, inadequate, and a waste of matter, energy, or space then chances are great that others will see you as such too.

Negative people begat negative things. Negative minds think negative things. I am amazed by persons who become intensely frustrated when reoccurring bad things happen to them. They pass it off as pure “bad luck.” Truth is, there is no such thing as “bad luck,” at least not as far as I am concerned.

We create our own destinies. We create our worlds by our thoughts, words, and actions. If you believe in your heart and you feel strongly that bad things will always happen to you, that you will never win, and that you're not good enough, hey, chances are that 98 out of 100 times you will prove yourself absolutely 100% correct.Your next statement after a negative event would then be, “See I told you so. Nothing good ever happens to me.” ---- Again, you're right, nothing good will probably happen because you've decreed negativity as your plight in life.

You create a negative existence by having powerful negative thoughts. How can you expect good, positive things to happen when you continuously fill the majority of your thoughts with negative images, ideas, and preconceived notions that your life is destined for failure?

Ever wonder why the percentage of people that succeed is far less than those that fail? Yep there are more failures than winners. Did you stop to wonder why it seems certain people have all the luck? (Mind you, I do not believe in luck) Why some people appear to be the chosen ones?

It is no coincidence that positive, strong willed, innovative thinkers succeed. Yes positive people experience temporary failure, but it's not truly a failure in the sense of the word because typically positive, determined minds learn from their failures or setbacks. They Don't Quit. They continue to follow their dreams.

Change your thoughts, change your life.

Change your thoughts, change your world.

Change your thoughts, change your existence!

As a man thinketh, so is he. Today I encourage everyone to take the vow of oath to change your thoughts. Watch what happens when you do!

Dont Quit - Follow Your Dreams!

I have received several Facebook posts, texts, phone calls, and emails concerning my book, 'Don't Quit - Follow Your Dreams!" Let me say that all glory goes to God! He gave me the message to relay.

When I began writing, I had no formal knowledge of how to write a book, how to distribute it, or knowledge of anything pertaing to being an author. Incredible enough, once I had finished my project, God gave me the insight to publish and distribute my book for a lot less than I ever imagined.

Today my book is currently offerred all over the world via the web, currently being sold at my speaking engagements, and is for sale in the Kingstree Chrisitian Bookstore!

Bottom line: When God has something for you to do, He will allow your gifts to make room for you.

We all have a purpose and it's our business to see to it that we walk in our purpose! I am living proof that he will make the way plain for you if you do the following:

1. Replace Fear with Faith
2. Take The First Step
3. Exercise Mind over Matter
4. Believe and Act

Don't Give Up

DON'T GIVE UP!! DON'T QUIT

Today I was a lil depressed....yes energetic Sue gets down some times. I wanted to QUIT this entertainment thing. 3 amazing things happened to me today. I prayed and asked God for a sign, cuz I was at a crossroads...

I have vision and dreams, but I don't have the resources to make it happen like I want to.

First thing happened: (1) gentleman saw me today and asked bout my TV show and said he switched to Ch 13 just so he could pick it up when it comes back on. (2) I felt moved to look at my cell phone and I noticed it stated I sent a tweet that read "Don't QUIT"-- I hadn't sent a tweet in 3 days so I instantly recognized it was God and his angels commanding me to stay the course. I cannot explain the feeling i received when I read that Tweet "DON't QUIT" -- I promise you I did not send that today! This was a clear message from GOD! (3) My sister's Shaneka's post of her confirmation let me know that we must continue our purpose and that God always confirms when you're on the right track.

I say to ery1 that is having it hard or second guessing your decisions--- "DON'T QUIT!!!!!" Again many thanks to ery1 that support my purpose!!!
